First of all, we want to say a big thank you for everyone who joined us at the much anticipated 2nd EDC gathering in Singapore. We are very grateful for your enthusiastic support, even though it was raining cats and dogs on the EDC night.
A special thanks to our invited speakers, Mr. Yugene and Ms Nina who came earlier for preparations and networking!
Once again, thank you to everyone for making 2nd EDC gathering a success!
In this gathering, the topics were heavily focused on design. First, we had Mr. Yugene who shared his expertise on UI UX. Yugene shared some important insights on how to design an interface that guides users to interact with the website/application.
Next, we had Ms Nina, the Design Lead from GRAB. Nina shared with us the mistakes she made in the past on her journey as a designer, and some practical and useful tips.
It’s worth mentioning that both Yugene and Nina did stress on one same thing – Design is not about art – It is about the interaction and communication with the users. To get the best results in regard of this, it is highly recommended for every designer to do AB testing to find out what suits the users best.
